Membership

Property Owners

Property owners in Blue Water Oaks make up the membership. Members have access to many amenities that make life on the lake much more pleasant. Many of the benefits of ownership are also extended to renters. 

Association Fees

The association fees for Blue Water Oaks is $65 per month.
These fees pay for:

  • Dumpster service
  • Swimming Pool
  • Boat ramp and fishing peer access
  • Upkeep of parks, common grounds, streets and community room.

Gaining access to Alvarado Lake through our private boat ramp opens many ways to enjoy the beauty of the lake. Be mindful that the lake belongs to the City of Alvarado and the Game Warden patrols these waters regularly. 

Please be considerate of the no-wake zones.

Blue Water Oaks Board

The board is comprised of elected members who volunteer their time to keep BWO running. From issuing permits to enforcing rules, keeping the park nice to paving the roads, these members work their butts off to make sure our community doesn't descend into chaos.

Secretary

Kalyn Byrd is the registered secretary for Blue Water Oaks and is likely the friendly voice you hear when you call the office. She is responsible for managing the office work which includes invoicing, bill pay, government document filing and interfacing for both the association and our public utilities, water and sewer.
